Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Southern California in a town called Monrovia. It was know as a haven for artists, musicians, actors and industry people to live in solitude. 

What inspired you to get into music?

I was a pretty awesome athlete as a kid, but I also enjoyed singing in High School Chorus. One day I was asked to audition for a band and the rest is history. 

Do you produce your music, or do you work with other producers? 

I am a desent drummer, but my songs are produced by friends and musicians for hire. The upright bassist who plays on EVERYTHING I NEED feat Priscilla Bailey, lives in Israel and is an International superstar who agreed to enhance the track. 

What is a songwriting session like for you? 

My style of songwriting is a little unconditional compared to most. Every song is  uniquely developed in it's own time. For instance: Everything I Need was originally written in the mid 80's and updated in 2019. A few were written within the last 2 years. A subject matter or theme has to inspire me to write or complete a song. Brainstorming has never worked for me. 

What inspires you to create? 

Well as I stated before, I am a person who relies upon inspiration or themes to create  a song. I have always an independent minded person, which does not follow the popular genres of the day. I strive to make good songs and quality music the best I know how. 

What is your local gospel scene like? 

Before the Pandemic, it was the mecca for gospel music. Atlanta is currently one of  the hottest places to display your musical talents. That includes award shows and concert venues 

Do you collaborate with other artists? 

Yes, I made that decision early on to collaborate with artists from around the  world. It only makes sense to team up and expand your fan base through a successful music collaboration. 

Before Covid19, did you perform live often? 

I am limited to a few live performances per year due to my career choices, yet I have  appeared on stage locally and continue to be in demand in the US and UK. 

Tell us about your latest project. 

The moment this tune begins, you are captured by the melodic sounds of an era fondly  remembered, a time when everything was just right. Let the music take you to that peaceful place again, while the words inspire you to keep on thanking God for everything you have, as He continues to provide you with everything You Need. (2 Peter 1:3 New International Version (NIV) 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Priscilla Bailey (a UK based Artist) adds her smooth sultry voice to this track which takes it to a whole new level. Brandon Parham (My Co Producer) adds a special touch of modern flare to give it a nice up to date sound. This project was a total collaboration from 3 different continents. Priscilla Bailey, Myself and Adam Ben Ezra (The Upright Bassist from Israel). I want people to feel a renewed vigor to worship Christ, give Him praise and glory for what He has done for you and for those around you. 

What can we expect from you in the future?

I am currently pushing my existing singles and am on track to complete my very first  CD by fall 2021. Afterwards I plan to promote it extensively.
